Top Students from Near and Far Join AUBG EMBA Cohort 20

22 leading professionals have joined AUBG’s 20th EMBA cohort. The students hold high-level positions in companies ranging from the healthcare and banking to the fashion and telecommunication industries. The new class is also international, with students coming from Bulgaria, Kosovo and Nigeria.

“Dear Cohort 20, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the AUBG family today,” said AUBG Interim President David Evans in a video address. “One of the biggest advantages of the EMBA Program is the knowledge exchange that happens between students, which is why I am thrilled to see such a diverse group coming not only from different industries but also from different countries.”

The new EMBA students kicked off their first semester with an online orientation day Jan. 18. The classes will begin online, and then switch to hybrid later on during the semester if the situation with the pandemic allows it.

AUBG's Executive MBA, the first of its kind in Bulgaria, was established in 2003 as a highly selective program that gathers together and educates the business leaders of Bulgaria and the region. The 16-month EMBA integrates the fundamentals of business with contemporary perspectives and a practical curriculum. Accredited in both EU and the U.S., the program is recognized internationally for its outstanding faculty and innovative approach.
