Top Professionals Join AUBG’s EMBA and EMFBRE Programs
AUBG welcomed its 19th Executive MBA cohort and the third cohort of the Executive Master in Finance, Banking & Real Estate (EMFBRE) program, a joint venture with SDA Bocconi. The current EMBA students of Cohort 18, EMBA students from previous cohorts, faculty and staff members were also there to celebrate the start of the new academic year.
“We have a very special group of people here tonight,” said AUBG Provost Emilia Zankina. The new EMBA and EMFBRE students hold leadership positions at, among others, the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and IT, media and entertainment and real estate and construction industries in Bulgaria. With 29 students, the new cohort is one of the largest classes in the 17-year-long history of the program.
AUBG’s Executive MBA, the first of its kind in Bulgaria, was established in 2003 as a highly selective program that gathers together and educates the business leaders of Bulgaria and the region. The 16-month EMBA integrates the fundamentals of business with contemporary perspectives and a practical curriculum.
The SDA Bocconi/AUBG Master in Finance, Banking & Real Estate was launched in October 2017. The degree program prepares top-level professionals to offer high-quality solutions to financial, banking, and real estate problems both operationally and strategically. The 16-courses’ program offers interactive classes that aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
