The AUBG Business Department Granted a Record-High Accreditation Grade
Bulgaria’s National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) has granted the AUBG Business Department a grade of 9.45 on a ten-point scale, the university’s best result since the introduction of the system. The Program in Business Administration and AUBG’s Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) received accreditation for four years.
Every year, more than 50% of the graduating B.A. students at AUBG hold their state exams in Business Administration. Students have the chance to practice what they have learned in the classroom in real-life situations thanks to the business and entrepreneurial-oriented student clubs. Some of those include the AUBG Business Club, the Investment Management Club, Startup@Blagoevgrad, and TEDxAUBG. The AUBG Accelerator Elevate, an initiative led by both alumni and current students, helps AUBGers start their own businesses while still on campus. Every semester, a number of guest-lecturers share their experience in the professional world during presentations, Q&A sessions, and mentorship programs organized by the Business Department and the student clubs. The Business faculty are accomplished professionals and academics coming from across the globe, while the Business Administration alumni continue their education in some of the world’s top universities, work in leading global companies, or start their own successful businesses. What's more, the Business Administration Program at AUBG traditionally ranks first in the annual National University Rankings.
The AUBG diversity and the opportunity to experiment with ideas and concepts have been the students’ driving force to bring positive change to society for 30 years now.
